The olloclip Telephoto 2X Lens available for iPhone X, iPhone 8 Plus or iPhone 7 Plus will work over the Telephoto camera on the respective iPhone. Follow these two easy steps.
1. Place your olloclip Telephoto 2X Lens over the iPhone’s built-in Telephoto camera.
2. Open the camera app on your iPhone and at the bottom of the screen, select “Portrait Mode.”
Note: If the olloclip Telephoto lens is placed over the iPhone’s camera but you have selected the default, “Photo Mode” or any other camera mode, your iPhone will have a black screen. Select “Portrait Mode” and enjoy!

The lens mount for iPhone 8/7 is not compatible with our iPhone X clip. We can convert them to be iPhone X compatible for $20 per lens. Contact us to learn how.
Our newest design for iPhone X is screen protector compatible. Previous generation iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch olloclip lens systems were designed to be used WITHOUT a screen protector. While some thin screen protectors may work, we cannot recommend any specific brands or guarantee compatibility.
olloclip lenses take amazing pictures with available light. Our lenses are not designed to work with a mobile device’s built-in flash. If you would like to use your on-board flash, remember to first remove your olloclip lens.
All olloclip lenses are designed to work with a naked, caseless mobile device. However, we’ve designed Slim Case to allow you to instantly clip on an olloclip lens without removing your case.
